Sunday evening now and had a wonderful weekend.

Friday was my last day in ym current role so they presented me with a present and card and the adoption team bought me some flowers - wanted to cry as i love the role and really dont want to leave!
My Dad and Sue arrived Friday late afternoon so spent a couple of hours with them and they then went to cheadle for dinner then stockport for a film whilst i met the girls fromw ork in urmston for tapas and drinks!!!! fantastic evening and back at 1.15..ooppps..bit of a fuzzy head sat morning!

Saturday we got up and had a fried breakfast and then headed for the peak district!
Ended up in Castleton at Peka Cavern whcih is also known as the Devils Arse!!! went inside the cavern which was amazing!!!!
then we went on to Eyam, the plague village and one of my favourite places! had a quick walk back then heded home as we were starving!
Then for dinner we headed into the village for a curry and it was lush!!!

Today we had naother fry up..ooopss, then headed into manchester for a few hours! ealked round castlefield, reading the plaques!!!!, and then onto the square where we had a late lunch at pizza express! yum
then sad ly it was time for Dad and Sue to head off home

I hate saying goodbye to my family and friends..makes me homesick and makes me question my decision to move up here even though i know it was the right thing!

Start new job tomo! Lookign forward to being permenant and getting settled! going to get my head down and start saving as i would totally love to buy property next year!

right, its only 8.45 and im knackered so bedtime soon!!!

Just finished watching 'Rich, Famous and Homeless' and have shed tears.
My heart bleeds for some of these people and it also seems so hopeless as what solution can there be.
I often buy food for homeless people (i dont give them money ever) but ive kinda realised its a drop in the ocean to what needs to be done.
We really need to start realising how lucky we are and that we alll need to help eachother.

Thursday evening now. Had a good session at the gym and then met sara for swimming afterwards. Its definately tiring me out but i can see a difference which is good!! i want to be able to wear crop tops again!

Last day at work tomo in my current position. Going to be sad to leave as the people are lovely and the job is so interesting. Good thing about my new one is that i know the people, know the job and its permenant! means i can finally start saving for a deposit for a house....i reckon give me a year and i stand a good chance!

My dad is up tomorow with his partner and i cant wait! i never realise how much i miss my family till im due to see them and i then i get mega homesick ;o(
not sure what to do with them...depends on the weather. Was maybe thinking Manchester centre during the day and then the local curry house where u take your own drink in the evening!

Feeling really happy and positive at the moment - no major reason but i guess i just have a feeling everything is going to be alright! if u had said this to me 6 weeks ago i would have laughed as i was in a low state then due to recent events but the light is always at the end of the tunnel, u just got to keep thinking positive and keep your chin up!

Tuesday evening and im not feeling my best.
Went swimming non sunday and picked up an ear infection...then this morning woke up with a sore throat then during the day got the sniffles and had hot flushes!!!!
still made it to them gym and did a mini work out and went on the weights so pleased with myself....next session is thursday where me and sara will do some laps of the pool as well.

Its my last week in my current role at work before i start back with the safeguarding team on Monday..bit sad to be leaving as i love my position and there is so so so much potential but unfoortunately its going down to part time so had to look elsewhere. The good thing is that its still witht he council and is a permenant position so i can actually strat saving and hopefully start looking towards a mortgage!

Got my dad and sue up Friday till sunday - cant wait to see them as havent seen Feb! feel a bit bad as im out for a work meal friday evening but dad and sue have said that fine- might give them a couple of cinema tickets to keep them out of trouble he he!

Not much else happening i dont think................................nope, that really is it!

Right, its saturday evenign and im back in my flat after a made 2 days in Glasgow!

Take That - OMG they are amazing! one of the best shows i have ever seen...they did some old tracks mixed in with their new! they had circus performers throughout and a huge mechanical elephant and it was simply just amazing! everyone was dancing and having a fab time and it was definately a night to remember! Cant wait to get it on dvd!
I am totally jealous of anyone yet to see this tour!

After the concert was definately an experience. i have never seen so many drunk, and by drunk i mean totally wasted, people at a concert. they were comotosed, hysterical, emotional and u didnt want to look at anyone the wrong way!
Took us until 12.30 for a texi to get us so by the time we got back to the hotel we were absolutely exhasuted.
Was it worth it? Oh hell yeah!

Sara, Dani and Tracy came back on the 1pm train but me being me wanted to do some exploring first as it was my first time in Glasgow! Went for a walk along the river then to the justice area then on to Robert Burns park which was beautiful!!! i only had a walk for an hour as i had a banging headache an my case with me so i got the train home about 2.40!

Looking forward to a nice lie in tomorrow and then meeting Sara at 2 to do a good session at the gym and pool!

The night before...............

Right its 11.pm on a Thursday evening...i should be getting ready to go to sleep for work tomorrow..but no, instead im too giddy to sleep. why, well tomorrow i go to Glasgow.....why, well im seeing 4 very special lads there. They go by the names of Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason! Yes tomorrow me, Sara, Dani and her mum are off to Hamden Park to see Take That perform in their circus tour!
Its been a couple of years since i saw them on their reunion tour so im sooo excited as ive heard the show is amazing!!!!
Right....really should try to sleep as its an early start and long journey tomo....hmm, maybe just a few more songs!!!
